Mindfulness Sessions for Adults
Mindfulness can help us to navigate the ‘full catastrophe’ of life, and perhaps the best way to learn mindfulness is by beginning with an 8-week mindfulness course such as the Mindfulness Association’s ‘Mindfulness Based Living Course’ that I teach approximately 3 times per year.
However, not everyone can fit in an evening class for 2 hours each week, and for some it is more convenient to learn in a private session. You can choose just to come for one session to try out mindfulness or you may wish to attend weekly to consolidate your learning and cover much of the material of an 8-week course.
Alternatively, you may already be very familiar with mindfulness practice and just feel like doing some guided practice with an experienced teacher, or sharing some difficulties in your practice in order to receive some guidance.
Mindfulness Sessions for 11-18 Year-Olds
I teach the Mindfulness Association’s ‘Mindfulness Based Living Course for Young Adults (MBLC-YA)’ which is a course for 11-18 year-olds that I created as part of my PhD studies. I can tailor private mindfulness sessions as required for your teen or tween. If your child or teen is affected by anxiety or depression then please seek GP approval prior to booking any sessions.
